I was very disappointed with the hotel after what I had read and seen on various web sites. Not a good location unless travelling by car as taxis are rather expensive. Bedroom and bathroom had been renovated but linens and towels needed re-newing. Ants in my bathroom. Restaurant and bar all underwhelming and definitely need re-decorating. We weren't there to use the spa so can't comment on that. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful and the best aspect of this hotel. Not what I would consider a 5* hotel.

The upgrade to a suite which was superb-one of the largest we ever had in a hotel. The location of the hotel between Pisa and Lucca was ideal for touring.the hotel was well an tastefully decorated.
The pool area needs desperately to be freshened up. It should be officially opened to guests from 8 am and not 10!! we were able to use it earlier but on every occasion towels and refuse from the previous day were not removed. I could have done it in 7 minutes if I were an employee but the employee on duty showed complete indifference to the situation!!! There also is no bar service available around the pool.

Everyone is extremely gracious. The elegance of the space is gorgeous. Spa is 5 star. Thanks!
Just wish the pool was warmer.

Very helpful staff - the man on the front desk got me two extra pillows (that weren't in the wardrobe as they should have been) despite the fact that it was after midnight. The children were welcomed everywhere - although the atmosphere was so quiet and peaceful, we worried about them disturbing the other guests, especially in the Spa. The Junior Prestige Suite was comfortable and spacious.
Parents should be aware that the 'pool' is not a swimming pool, it is thermal pool and as I have mentioned above, it is not a place for boisterous play - most of the guests there were quiet couples. The food was perfectly ok but expensive for what it was.

Very luxuous. We were treated very well, car parking, great breakfast. The personnel was really trying their utmost! Even that we were with our kids 2 & 4 years old was no issue they were all very trully kind!
We should have known...it is a spa not really suitable for kids as the pool is a thermic bath 37 degrees... But we managed to stay for 4 nights and went to the beach every day and returning late at night to a great hotel!!!

Very friendly staff, old fashioned furniture and relaxing atmosphere. Excellent Spa and hot termal water. Spaceous rooms (Junior Suite) with high ceilings. Good food and breakfast buffet is ok, without surprises
Babies should not be allowed in the Spa area. Breakfast menue should be availale all days, not only from thursday through weekend.
